About the Business

The Denver Athletic Club (DAC) is a private, member-owned club located in the heart of downtown Denver. In 1891 The DAC broke ground on its current landmark building. In 1892 the Club became home to the first bowling alley in the west. In the 1970s, The DAC recruited squash pro Hashim Khan to develop the Club's renowned squash center that bears his name. Today The DAC occupies a city block and includes 300,000 square feet of social, dining and athletic amenities. 150,000 square feet of the Club is made up of a fitness center; indoor pool; seven squash courts; six racquetball/handball courts; full size basketball gymnasium & running track; 8 lane bowling alley; climbing wall; cross fit box, group exercise studios and a hot yoga studio. Social and dining areas include a restaurant; pub; billiards and card room; and rooftop sundeck. The DAC is ranked in the top ten athletic clubs by the Platinum Clubs of America.

Members organize a full calendar of social events from summer concerts on the roof, to wine tastings, the Athlete of the Year banquet, St. Paddy's Punch Out boxing night and Mothers Day Brunch.
