About the Business

The DeFalco family emigrated from Abuzzi Italy, into Toronto Canada, in 1903. Soon after the family moved to the suburbs of Detroit, MI where the OG DeFalco's Deli was born. In 1974, John and Dora DeFalco with their son, Jerry, and their daughter-in-law, Judy, moved to Arizona and opened the DeFalco's Italian Deli and Grocery you know today.

My wife and I started this business after moving to Arizona from a suburb of Detriot, MI.  Now, the 3rd and 4th generation of our family is running DeFalco's. Our business is modeled after the DeFalco's Deli my grandmother started in Michigan using her grandmother's recipes from Abruzzi, Italy.  We started small with only a handful of sandwiches and Italian products. DeFalco's has grown to offer an extensive menu with pasta, pizza and our favorite sandwiches in addition to carrying an extensive selection of Italian specialty products.
