You may be wondering how our business started: We lost our jobs at the start of the COVID 19 pandemic and had to come up with a quick plan to feed our family. Before our business started, Chef Budda was known by his friends and family for making the best Soul Food with many self invites to our home for dinner and requests for him to make his famous dishes for purchase. We thought to ourselves "lets see who would buy lunch plates from us?" Before we knew it we were selling out of lunch plates and started offering dinner and lunch. Our idea turned into a hit business that offers pop up kitchens at a multitude of events across San Diego with a large following of faithful customers that we are always happy and excited to serve at each event.
The smiles and compliments from our customers give us strength, great pleasure, and inspiration to continue making delicious food. Come and see what we have to offer at our next pop up and I guarantee you wont be disappointed.

Our business caters to ALL who love or want to try some good ol' authentic Soul Food. Our Mac & Cheese and Collard Greens along side our famous fried chicken has been a hit since the day we started. We gradually started adding different side dishes to our menu each week and before we knew it, we had new favorites and several side dishes that our wonderful customers enjoyed.
