First opened in 1999, Chaz moved to his current Hollywood location from Bel Air to offer a salon experience different from what you could find anywhere else.

Partnering with Jeff lewis of Bravo's "Flipping Out", the salon went through a complete renovation and makeover, and has been featured on multiple season's of the hit reality show.

Unlike any other salon in Los Angeles, Chaz Dean Studio is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood. Here you'll be able to relax in a stress free environment while our expert stylists do everything from trims to complete hair makeovers.

Born in Vermont, Dean was adopted as a baby, then grew up in New Jersey and the Pennsylvania countryside until he was 13, when his family relocated to Southern California. He graduated from high school in the small town of Simi Valley, California, then his family moved again to Phoenix, Arizona. In high school, he had taken photography courses, and developed a passion for it during a cross-country trip with his family. After attending commercial photography courses in Phoenix, Dean moved to Los Angeles to make his way as a photographer. "L.A. was so big though, that I decided to go to cosmetology school to enhance my career and photography," he says. The rest is history.
