About the Business

Joe started as an electrical contractor with a little sedan and a ladder sticking out the back window. He quickly found that customers are interested in a good deal with an honest person. That was the theme of his career then and now.

In 1992, he moved to Orem, Utah. To his surprise, he learned a lot of customer complaints with contractors were easily remedied with a little care and concern. He started Captain Electric, LLC with the idea that he would revolutionize customer service in the electrical industry.

Starting his own electrical business to meet the needs of customers was a natural outgrowth of his life. Joe grew up with a father, uncles, and brother who were electricians. Solving electrical problems always intrigued him, so as a kid he worked hard and then passed the rigorous tests for entering an electrical union. After passing the test he married his high school sweetheart and now has 9 children.

Captain Electric is based on honesty, hard work, and supporting family.
