Charles opened his doors to the public in 1994, when he started Canbe Foods Inc. He was inspired by the classic Indian flat bread; the ROTI. This dish overtime became the staple dish of Canbe Foods, and gained popularity with its customers. As years went by, Charles decided to add in the flavours and spices of India, and his hometown of Sri Lanka. It is from this moment, when Canbe started to create products like samosas, rolls, vadai, kothu roti, and dosa. But this is not the end, as Charles plans to bring in more dishes inspired by his experiences and love for spices.
