About the Business

We started in an old school, three chair, barber shop in the Hill Crest Mall (beside Buy-Low-Foods) May 2012 to October 2017. We made that little shop into a trendy little hair salon. Neighbours would pop by just to say hi. By the end we even found ourselves helping clients outside on the lawn, as it was to busy inside. The mall itself was being taken down. In mid October 2017 we decided to rebrand and move down the street to the Central Plaza mall. We now have a beautiful, classy, large space to help our customers. We not only provide the same high end, custom hair services but we have expanded into teaching. We are collaborating with our sister school future hair training centre, in Vancouver. We are so excited to share our years of knowledge with the new generation of hair artists.

Jessica has been in the hair industry since 2000. Starting as an assistant and then attending school at Future Hair Training Centre in Vancouver. Before opening Bombshell, Jessica had a home salon in Kitsilano, and worked with some inspiring stylists at a small salon in her home town of Tsawwassen. She is passionate about hair, customer service and education. Her next venture, starting in 2019, is opening a White Rock campus of the very hair school she attended so many years ago, Future Hair Training Centre. Jessica will be one of the head educators and will continue doing hair as well.
