About the Business

Family owned and operated candy store in Historic Old Downtown Carrollton, TX. We offer over thousands of varieties of candy, nostalgic sodas and funky/unique gift items.

What began as a flower shop eventually morphed into of all things, a candy store. In 2009, we had the opportunity to move into a new space that contained two front doors. A friend suggested that we should add candy on one side of the store so we gave it a try. The candy became a lot more fun for us so we just kept growing and growing until we became what we are today, a crazy fun shop filled to the brim of nostalgia, soda pops and candy goodness!

We carry over 300 different kinds of glass bottled soda pops including over 75 root beers & sarsaparillas. Root Beers, Sarsaparillas, Birch Beers, Cream Sodas, Ginger Beers & Ales, are just some of the flavors we offer. Have you ever tried a Spruce Beer, Molasses Root Beer or Butterscotch Root Beer? Blooms is owned by my husband John and I and our close friend Sid.  After an impulsive phone call in 2008, we decided to go into business together.  We have put our heart and souls into our business and we hope that you enjoy reliving childhood memories when you enter our store.  It is a piece of all of us and we enjoy sharing it with everyone.
