About the Business
Bussey's Flea Market opened in the Fall of 1978 by Mr. H. P. Bussey. He built the original 120 spaces. In June of 1984, Mr. Bussey sold the flea market to a limited partnership, with Mr. Harold J. Smith as the General Partner. Today, Mr. Smith is still the General Partner with his three children as limited partners: Karmen West, Steven Smith, and Pamela Smith. Bussey's Flea Market now has three generations of full time employees. Over the past 32 years, this family-owned business has grown to over 500 vendors.

Since we are a family owned and operated business, we pride ourselves in the atmosphere only a family can create. We would like everyone who visits our flea market to make memories that last generations. Busseys Flea Market opened in the fall of 1978 by H. P. Bussey. He built 120 spaces at that time. Today, Mr. Smith is still the General partner with his three children as limited partners: Karmen West, Steven Smith, and Pamela Smith. Busseys Flea Market now has three generations of full time employees. Over the past 25 years, this family owned business has grown to over 500 vendors and a customer count between 12,000 and 16,000 every weekend.
