About the Business

by Chad Lott and Michael Noragon. Before that, Michael actually entered the industry as Chad's apprentice in 2001. The two of them worked closely together in the Sugar House area for eight years, but the timing was never just right for them to open their own salon. Unexpectedly, the financial collapse of 2008 opened the door to a wonderful salon location in Sugar House at the right price and the business partners seized the opportunity. b space salon has since steadily grown in recognition and reputation for the great work the owners and their stylists create.

With 20 years as a stylist, colorist, and an educator, Chad's experience in this industry is diverse and impressive. As co-owner of b space salon, education has always been his passion. Training and teaching in numerous color and product lines, his dedication to KMS and Goldwell and the development of his team have been years in the making. His emphasis behind the chair is to maximize each clients potential while giving them the knowledge and skills to achieve maximum results.  As co-owner of b space salon, Michael's experience is impressive. Educating for KMS California across North America, working in film and television, plus managing a full- time clientele have led to obtaining a diverse, unique and deep knowledge of the beauty industry. Michael enjoys breaking through perceived limitations and empowering stylists and clients to explore the vast potential of what expanded knowledge and education can provide.
