About the Business

B-Bombshell Salon was an idea with the geek community in mind.
Our first hurdle was to obtain funding. We launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise money and managed to raise $7200 thanks to our awesome and generous contributors! We're so thankful for them--this may have never happened otherwise.

After that, we were able to secure a loan and the hunt for a location began. We wanted something with transit access and in a centralized city (such as New Westminster). Our original choice for location's rent was rather astronomical (especially for a brand new business) so after some searching, we found our new home at 808 20th Street. Being only 2 blocks from a Skytrain station, buses going by, on a busy street, and having previously been a hair salon, it was the perfect choice.

After some renovations and many learning experiences, we've opened our doors and are ready to unleash B-Bombshell onto the world!

B-Bombshell is a fun, imaginative salon aimed at offering a unique, high quality, and unusual outlook primarily for people who identify themselves as a part of the geek community (gamers, cosplayers, anime lovers, techies, etc.). Our salon is not just for the geek-inclined, however. We are a full service hair salon where you can experience high quality services and products in an environment that's tastefully themed and fun for everyone, geek or not! At B-Bombshell you'll find a safe, comfortable and fun place for those of us that call ourselves geeks, and geek adjacent (partners, kids, parents, friends). You'll feel at home, have a good time, and may just come out with the best hair of your life. Our variety of hair services includes haircuts, hair coloring, perms, highlights, and styling services like blowouts and updos. If it has to do with the hair on your head, we can do it!
