About the Business

In 1972, Anushka founded The Anushka Day Spa & Cellulite Clinic in Manhattan with the support of my godfather, a prominent New York physician, Dr. Robert Wallis. Cellulite is the number one aesthetic concern for women of all ages, and has always been the main focus of my endeavors. It is characterized as a dimpled, orange peel-like texture on the thighs and buttocks that 90% of women have and hide. Later Anushka opened two more successful locations in South Florida that incorporated spa therapies, hair, nail and makeup salons and cellulite clinics. Today the Anushka brand has become synonymous worldwide with body contouring and cellulite control. Anushka has been quoted in many international beauty and fashion magazines including Vogue, Allure, Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar, Wall Street Journal, Vanidades, Vive, Medesthetics, and many others. She has even been called the "Supermodel's Beauty Guru" and named "Cellulite Exorcist Extraordinaire" by Vogue.

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Hungarian parents.  My mother was a gifted concert pianist and my father was a successful film industry executive.  They passed down a lifelong appreciation for art and aesthetics while instilling in me the importance of having confidence in yourself and your abilities. Beauty and aesthetics have been my passions since my early teens.  Discovering a unique ingredient for my skin care range, or designing a treatment regimen that really delivers results is so rewarding.  Today, the Fountain of Youth is a reality. I think we all want to look flawless and fabulous - and that includes me! At Anushka, guests can refresh and redefine themselves to look ten years younger in a single visit to our Cosmedical Centre where new technologies steeped in science are integrated into a peaceful, rejuvenating atmosphere. We offer an arsenal of the latest medical breakthroughs and fully customized treatments based upon the individual needs of our clients.
