About the Business

The tavern was established on December 7th, 2007. We are named after Edgar Allen Poe's last poem, Annabel Lee, which was published posthumously. Like the poem itself we have been called 'darkly romantic." We look forward to adding you to our long history of happy customers.

Established in 2007.

Specialties

Annabel Lee Tavern is a little tavern located a bit off the beaten path in the Canton area of Baltimore. It is here that we hope that our guests feel at home. We offer friendly service and affordable cuisine. Our food is what we like to call upscale comfort. Our menu is eclectic but not pretentious. In addition to our menu we will always have at least six daily specials to choose from and a good dose of vegetarian options. Our wine and beer lists are varied but not pricey and we offer a unique, Poe-themed cocktail list. We celebrate Edgar Allen Poe, Baltimore, and Maryland on a daily basis. We have a lot of pride in our hometown and state. It is here that a couple can come for a romantic dinner for two or watch an O's game by romantic candle light. Come on by or make your reservation today.
