About the Business

Anita Kurl has been open in Boston's South End, for twelve years. We are proud to have been the springboard for many stylists who have moved on from Anita Kurl to open up their own salons, as well as moved on to do editorial work in NYC and LA. This spring we are excited to welcome two new stylists to the Anita Kurl family, stay tuned!

Specialties

The stylists at Anita Kurl are versatile in cutting and coloring many different types of hair. Some of us have taken advanced classes at The Vidal Sassoon Academy in Miami, which specializes in very precise geometric haircuts. Others have taken advanced education in the Deva Curl cutting method, which teaches stylists special techniques in how to handle all types of curls from wavy to corkscrew. All the stylists take bi-annual classes taught by educators at Wella. These classes teach us new modern techniques to help update our clients looks as well as help us perfect the basics. We are looking forward to our next class in March which will be a hair cutting class taught by the experts at Sebastian.
