About the Business

Born in northern Italy, Chef Andre received his formal training at the famed Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in Paris, France. After working for several top rated restaurants in New York and in Los Angeles during the late 40's and 50's, Andre opened a full service restaurant named Andre's of Beverly Hills in 1959 that quickly came to define what is now known as "Continental Cuisine." Chef Andreone's eponymous restaurant was a big hit and he quickly developed a reputation for having the most reasonably priced full service restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Andre's philosophy of providing his customers with value played a big part in his decision to open Andre's Italian Restaurant in 1963. He felt strongly that a family should be able to enjoy a healthy and satisfying meal out together without having to spend a small fortune. More than 50 years later, his satisfied customers continue to prove that he was absolutely right!
