Altered Ego started out in 1983 as a small family owned and operated salon. The owner later passed on the business and all her hard work to her three daughters that currently run the business and have continued to make it what it is today.

After finishing beauty school I went away to Colorado Institute of Art where I received my Associates degree in Visual Communications.  In 1995 I returned to Arizona and worked at a publishing company working on various projects.  Eventually I realized that I missed the beauty industry and went to work at the family business.  My mother's decision to retire brought me to take over the family business and make it my own.  With lots of work, ups and downs I am proud to say we are successful and running stronger than ever. Thanks to all our loyal customers and support from our staff.
