Business Owner

Emma I. (Business Owner)

Adorit all started when I was living and working in Tibet,  a friend and I set up  small micro finance programs to help with poverty there. These took off and we began to sell goods to tourist groups as well as small pop up shops in Canada. I came back to Canada as these programs had grown quite large and set up for the summer in the Byward market as a vendor.A retail location on York came up for rent so I began to bring in clothing and accessories that were made locally the whole time sticking to my idea of creating a venue for the public to purchase ethically made goods and a ways of continuing to support Tibet. I wanted to put a face to each and every product so people could know where their clothing and jewelry were from. This idea grew and grew and after three years I moved to our present location next to the old as it was a bigger space. Adorit now is full of Locally made and Fair trade goods alot are one of kind  and each and every piece comes with a story . Lots of love , Emma
