Van started the business with his partner Chris in the hopes of being able to create a non-smoking, non-gaming bar for the neighboring communities to congregate to and enjoy a casual night out.  In doing so, they hoped that this would drive a conversation about craft beer and create an interesting dialogue about the stories behind the beers being offered to the guests along with a small but delicious food offerings to pair with the beers, liquor, and wines being offered.
