About the Business

Zoë Massage & Bodywork was founded by Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodyworker Rachel Proffit in 2011. After several years of working in franchised spas, she felt there was a better way to gain client loyalty than persuading clients to join a contracted "membership" option. Her philosophy is simple: Work with a team of highly trained, effective, and motivated massage therapists who have developed unmatched bodywork techniques, and offer clients an option to receive outstanding value without feeling pressured or rushed through a routine.

Established in 2011.

Business Owner

Rachel P. (Business Owner)

I went into massage therapy after receiving structural bodywork from another licensed practitioner following a series of injuries. The relief I experienced was so tremendous, I sought out my therapist's instructor and enrolled in the training he offered. I attended Southeastern Institute for 500 Hours, including 50 hours of clinical internship, before opening my own practice upon graduation and receipt of my NCLMBT license.
