In this Center in the heart of downtown, children enjoy two rooftop play areas and have great opportunities to explore their urban environment. Walks to area parks are common in warm weather. When it’s too cold to go out, children play in our gym and indoor play area, and swim in the pool. Our Nicollet Mall location provides easy access to many bus routes and other public transportation options. Full-Time Child Care: At YWCA Minneapolis, we equip children with the knowledge, skills and drive to reach their true potential. Our NAEYC-accredited and Four-Star Parent Aware rated early learning programs offer a whole-child learning approach to build children's social-emotional, cognitive, physical and cultural development. Affordable Summer Camp: Travel around the world this summer with YWCA Minneapolis! Our summer camps are safe, fun and diverse learning experiences designed for many ages, skill sets and interests.
