When I started Wasatch eco-mow in 2013, I decided with all of the air quality issues in Salt Lake City it was time to try a different approach by trying to do away with gas powered equipment. The 2 stroke trimmers and blowers were the biggest concern since they put out the most exhaust pollution and also contribute significantly to noise pollution. Our trimmers and blowers are both battery powered and are recharged daily with solar power which means...zero pollution!! They are also much quieter than the traditional gas powered versions.

Welcome! Wasatch Eco-Mow is a cleaner, quieter, more eco-friendly alternative to lawn maintenance. We are the first lawn service company in Utah to use traditional gas powered equipment in combination with battery powered electric equipment. Our service trailer even has a solar charging unit that allows us to re-charge out batteries through out the day. ​Wasatch Eco-Mow is locally owned and operated. We currently service Salt Lake City from the Avenues south to Sandy, east of I-15. Our weekly or bi-weekly lawn service includes mowing, trimming, edging and blowing off walkways and driveways. ​

I started Wasatch Eco-mow in 2013 thinking there was a need for a better way to take care of our landscapes. We're all aware of the increasing problem that bad air has become in our valley. Although rarely talked about, lawn maintenance equipment is a big part of that problem especially for our summer air. After a year of research we started off by purchasing battery operated trimmers and blowers and set up a solar charging station on our trailer. We are now able to run that side of our business emission free.
