About the Business
Our community initially opened business in 1958 as W&P Motors Inc., a Volkswagen dealership dedicated to serving the northern region of Metro Toronto. The company was started by Mr.Winning and Mr.Pendorak. In 1972 Mr. Kurt Wichtler purchased the company and in 1993, the name was changed to Volkswagen Richmond Hill. The reason for the name change was to create awareness in Metro, that a Volkswagen dealer existed in Richmond Hill; hence the name. With 40 years of experience, dedicated to the servicing and sales of Volkswagen's, we have grown to be the oldest and one of the more successful Volkswagen dealers in Toronto. We are proud of our heritage and will continue to strive forth and expand, with the help of our trustworthy employees and customers.
