About the Business

Victoria Public Market is located in The Hudson building, in downtown Victoria. The Hudson is the result of the transformation of the historic Hudson's Bay building, a Canadian retail landmark. Townline purchased the building in 2006 and completed an extensive rehabilitation in 2010 converting the once grand department store into 152 ultra modern flats, lofts and penthouses. The Victoria Public Market moved into the main level of the building in 2013, as the need for a downtown public market became clear.
