About the Business

Valpy Street owners, Andrew and Antony, have many years' experience in the hospitality business. They recently bought the former Chronicles newspaper rooms in the heart of Reading with the desire to open an independent eatery in this unique building. It has long been their belief that there are far too few independent bars and restaurants in the town centre and they have a real passion to deliver the quality and personality to food and service that only an independent can bring.
