Urban Kitchens began in 1999 as Vintage Kitchens. With a masters in architecture and historic preservation, the company specialized in designing kitchens in the Oklahoma City historic districts. Through the years Urban Kitchens grew and designed beautiful kitchens for homes with all styles of architecture. With the popularity of Mid Century Modern and the growing interest in Oklahoma City's downtown historic buildings and lofts, Urban Kitchens relocated to be near mid town and downtown. Their designs include all architectural styles.

Urban Kitchens is a full service kitchen and bath remodeling company. We design kitchens that are compatible with the architecture of your home and reflect your personality. Kitchen remodeling is our specialty. We also do interior remodeling, bathroom remodeling, interior design and exterior remodeling. The owner/designer Jo Meacham has a masters in architecture and has been a kitchen designer for over twelve years. Urban Kitchens serves Oklahoma City, Edmond, Norman, Moore, Midwest City, Moore, Bethany, and Warr Acres.

Jo Meacham graduated with a masters in architecture and historic preservation from the University of Oklahoma and spent over 18 years as a historic preservation designer and planner.  Now Jo serves as the owner and designer at Urban Kitchens.  While specializing in kitchen remodeling, no residential project is too large for Urban Kitchens.
