Kate Turney is inspired by the cross-pollination of cities with nature, and has been working in green roof, rooftop and backyard garden/build since 2001. Previously, she worked in wholesale plant nurseries and as a graphic designer. Kate studied landscape design at New York Botanical Garden after studying fine arts at Maryland Institute College of Art, and is a certified green roof professional.
