About the Business

tumi was officially born in 2001, when Renato and Louisa Marsilli opened their first Salon together here in Bridge Road, Richmond. Their key drive was to establish a quality environment where they had control over the way that clients were managed and cared for.
On the 20th February 2001 the doors opened for business with three work stations, two basins limited stock and one range of retail products. Many loyal clients followed to this new home.
Over time as the business grew it became increasingly clear that employing people with an absolute passion for hair was critical. This is still a point of difference between tumi and many other salons. Clients enjoy an atmosphere that is modern, creative, professional, friendly and comfortable. The client is always front and centre in our minds.
At tumi we pride ourselves on all clients experiencing thorough consultation that incorporates face shape, hair texture, skin tone and latest fashion. Most importantly the clients come first.
