About the Business

In 1990, Scott and Lena Heinrich started Tow Pro with one truck. Tow Pro was sold in 1998 to Road One, the first national towing company. In August 2000, Doug and David Williams took ownership of Tow Pro and have forged the company into one of the elite towing and recovery outfits throughout the southeast.

Doug has been in the towing industry since 1970 in Jacksonville, FL. He was a founding member of the Professional Wrecker Operators of Florida. In the late 1980s, Doug took his skills to Miller Industries and was a top performer sales representative. In 1997 he was asked to be Road One's first Vice President of the Southeast region. Then in 2000 Doug decided to get back to his roots. He bought Tow Pro from Road One and took Tow Pro to new heights. Today he has his son David and son-in-law Ryan at his side. Tow Pro now has two locations in Nashville and a location in Indianapolis, IN.
