About the Business

The tradition of the Gaucho began in the South of Brazil in an area called Rio Grande do Sul. In the early 1800's when Europeans immigrated to several areas of South America, the Gaucho became a way of life. Similar to the American cowboy, Gaucho's raised cattle and then travelled to surrounding villages to sell their livestock.

On their long journeys Gaucho's lived off the land and their cattle. After butchering the meat, Gaucho's would place leftover's onto skewers to easily carry the meat while they continued their journey

At Touro, we continue this tradition by using the same style of cooking. Meats are roasted over an open flame churrasco barbeque and sliced thinly table-side. Guests are also welcome to pair their meats with other traditional items such as feijoada beans or a Caipirinha cocktail.

At Touro, we offer both Traditional Brazilian Rodizio service. Rodizio service features continuous table-side service of a wide variety of select cuts of beef, pork, poultry, lamb, and seasonal seafood, as well as our famous grilled pineapple! The service also includes our exquisite Appetizer Island featuring a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, including fresh salads and tasty hot dishes and soups. If you are looking for lighter fare, check out our Lava Bar for a selection of Brazilian appetizers and sandwiches from our Lounge and Bar Menu (available in the bar area only). Want to try Rodizio, but not commit to the full dining experience? Try our Sunday brunch. Featuring a full breakfast and Antipasto bar plus four cuts of meats served table-side. All at a great price.
