About the Business

We started in 2009 when Pop Barker realized that people loved Tamales, but couldn't find them all year round. From our humble beginnings traveling door to door on an old beat up pickup, to the Grapevine Farmers Market, to our original location called "The Shack" in Grapevine Texas, We are excited about our first full service restaurant located at 1689 W. Northwest Highway and we look forward to seeing each of you that help us create even more history in the Tommy Tamale story.

Established in 2009.
