About the Business
In 1996, Tim rented an 1800-square-foot section of a building that provided four stalls for him to use for car repairs. He had already established a relationship with a Porsche repair shop and several local patrons, and so he started his own business. As business increased, so did the area. In 1998, he purchased the existing space and the rest of the building, increasing his workspace by 1400 square feet. In 2000, he added another 1800-square-foot section to the back. And, in 2007, he built a new 6400-square-foot building to house the now 14 stalls with an enhanced paint booth, relaxing customer waiting area, and a great team of seven employees.

Tim Stegner, the owner of Body Worx, has lived in Guthrie his entire life. His mother helped raise many local kids at her facility, Firehouse Daycare. His father was a member of the Oklahoma City Fire Department and the local volunteer Fire Departments. Tim has been in the auto body repair business for over 20 years. Tim supports local businesses by buying in Guthrie when possible. He sponsors teams and charities in the area. His kids attend Guthrie Public Schools.
