Thurgood plumbing was started in 1971 as a family business in Syracuse Utah. We did plumbing and excavation at the time. Thurgood plumbing is still a family owned and operated company with a US Navy SeaBee veteran at the helm. We believe in serving our community as well as our customers in the best possible way. Our customers are part of our Thurgood family and are treated like family. All of our technicians understand that we believe “the right thing is always the right thing “as well as be of service to others. as a company, we strive to do the right thing, if we make a mistake, we do our very best to correct that mistake in a positive way. Most folks don’t realize it, but the majority of Service plumbing companies in Utah are now owned by private equity firms that are not even from Utah. We have been and will remain your best friends plumber and hopefully your plumber for life!!

Chuck D. (Business Owner)

Chuck has been a plumber since 1979 when he enlisted in the US Navy, he went to school in the navy and became a plumber in the navy Seabees. Chuck spent 11 years  in the navy earning the rank of petty officer second class (UT2) where he worked as a plumber on various projects, all over the world from fitting pipe on the trans Alaska pipeline to installing base utilities at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean once Chuck got out of the service, he started life as a new construction plumber on the commercial side. After several years of doing commercial work, he switched to residential service work. Chuck found that he enjoyed residential service work because of the interaction with the customers and learning about their families. He also found that he enjoyed serving people and continued with the tradition.
