About the Business

The Snug was one of the first of Victoria's many traditional neighborhood pubs, and has been given a new lease on life in the recently rebuilt Oak Bay Beach Hotel. Since 1954 The Snug has been the gathering place and hangout for University of Victoria staff and students, Oak Bay residents and guests of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel. Many of the touchstones from the past have been preserved into the updated and brighter Tudor-esque pub.
