About the Business

We opened our family run coffee house in summer 2008 in a small 16 seater cafe premises in the centre of Bradford. In early spring 2013 we relocated to a bigger airier business premises still in the city centre but away from the pedestrianised area. This has proved to be a great move for us as we have some fabulous regular customers who have followed us up the hill and have acquired new customers from the many offices that surround us. Our dining room seats just under 40 and is a much nicer space for people to relax or meet friends for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.

I left Bradford College in 1992 after 3 years training to become a qualified chef and then set upon a journey of 16 years travelling and working around the country in various hotel and restaurant kitchens perfecting my trade. I even had a 3 year spell working for a motor racing team which was a great learning experience for outside catering. After deciding to return home to Bradford and with some fantastic family support I bought what was to become The Red Room Coffee House.
