About the Business

For 11 years, this business specialised in hair and make-up for wedding parties. Even though very enjoyable, I decided that 11 years was enough, and moved into the organic colour niche.. I love working with colour, and i find my work enormously satisfying! There is great pleasure in seeing a woman see herself with new eyes. I compete in hair and make-up locally, which keeps my ideas fresh. When the feb 2011 earthquake hit, we had the next door neighbours chimney straight through our roof.. which inspired me to build a private studio on my section.. My salon is cozy, with lots of natural light, and a wonderful ambience about it.

Hello ;-) i have had 35 years hairdressing experience, and still love every minute! I started my apprenticeship straight from high school and owned my 1st business within 3 years. I have had experience in all aspects of hairdressing, from barbering to hair and make-up for wedding parties. My hobbies are, gardening, swimming, reading, biking, and spending time with my family and dogs.. My husband Grant is a great cook (lucky me!0 and we enjoy eating out and going way on weekends.. I love my work and enjoy the people i meet through my work. I compete in the local competitions which keeps me fresh and inspired..
