About the Business

The Lotus-Heart was first established on 13th February 1997 as a small café at 595 Colombo Street, Christchurch and on 7 January 2008 expanded into a beautiful restaurant space in the original chief post office building in Cathedral Square.

The big quake of 22 February 2011 in Christchurch permanently closed our Colombo Street cafe and rendered the Cathedral Square location inaccessible to this day.

The Lotus-Heart was rebuilt at it's current location at 363 St Asaph Street, between Fitzgerald Avenue and Barbadoes Street. This is the only location currently operating.

Established in 1997.
