About the Business

Former owners of Inwood Tavern, Tom and Lisa Georgalis, opened The Ivy Tavern as a new generation dive bar. A neighborhood bar where you can enjoy a delicious cocktail, craft beer and even some pretty authentic Greek bar food. Look for handmade sausages, gyros and more. Lots of focus was put into the patio that boasts one of the best patio experiences in Dallas. Huge trees cover the canopy with an outdoor bar open on busy nights. Live music every Thursday and weekends assures you and your friends will never be without action. Giant Jenga, Darts, Pool and full size Cornhole are some of the other games people love to play over a beer.

Tom purchased the Inwood Tavern one day when a bartender refused to make his drink the way he likes it. Tom is a Car and Boat Dealer in Dallas and has owned five new car franchise dealerships in the metroplex during his career. Tom and Lisa are life long Dallas residents with three children and consider the Ivy Tavern their fourth
