Though originally from Hamilton, Sherrai attended the AVEDA Academy in Toronto where she was the recipient of a full scholarship from the world renowned Civello group of salons. At Civello Rosedale, Toronto's longest standing salon, she worked alongside some of the best stylists in the industry, impressing the most discerning clientele from the worlds of television, film and fashion. Sherrai later took her skills and passion to the second oldest salon in Toronto, John Steinberg & Associates, where she eventually became the most senior master stylist with well over 300 clients, some travelling from as far away as Ohio just to see her.
