The "Cork" has been a Tucson tradition since 1966, initially established as the "Cork 'n Cleaver" which quickly expanded to a chain of 80 restaurants. It featured steak, seafood and chops in a restaurant with a southwestern vibe. For more than a half century, and only 4 owners, the "cork" has always remained the local nickname for this legacy spot. Current owners Glenn and Sally Murphy are upholding the traditions of this historic restaurant with what may be one of Tucson's best bar scenes on the east side of town.

The Cork Tucson is a legacy spot frequented by locals and visitors for decades. Originally established as the Cork 'n Cleaver, this classic steakhouse has had several names, but the same prime cuts of meat, fresh seafood and game-based specials including buffalo and venison are traditionally served with a southwestern flair. We offer dine-in and take-out. The cozy space offers a bar area with high-tops, intimate dining rooms with four cozy fireplaces and an outdoor patio.

Glenn's culinary career began in his native Perth, Western Australia. Sally is an Arizona native with an extensive background in journalism & entertainment, who manages the company's media. They enjoy making guests feel at home in this classic space.
