About the Business

Built in 1850 as a coaching stage, the road outside was originally the main route to London.
From 1954 known as The Red Lion, the name was changed back to The Coach House in 1984. It closed in 2004 and remained empty for three years.
2008, It was slowly restored with sympathy for it's era and is slowly being improved as a labour of love.
The Coach House has built up a reputation for good food and friendly clientelle.
