Founded in the 90's and originally running from a 2-storey house in South Melbourne, the Club has since moved to the Melbourne City.

The Butterfly Club is the single busiest single-stage theatre in Australia, with north of 600 performances presented every year. Thousands of artists have found their muse at the Club, and occasionally some huge names come back to remember what performing in an intimate space feels like.
