The Burnt Tongue opened its doors for the first time on Supercrawl weekend in 2013 as a soup & frites restaurant. As its reputation began to blossom in Hamilton, guest feedback expanded the menu to include salads, sandwiches, burgers, and a variety of daily specials. After a successful three years, a second location was opened on Locke Street to satisfy the city's increasing demand.
