About the Business

Our history began in the 1930s long before we started serving cocktails. Our building was the original location of the Chandler Newspaper, & still boasts original brick walls and ceilings. The owner has been serving Chandler through fine dining & hospitality for over 20 years, and with executive Chef Nick Gibbs and craft mixologist behind the bar, you can experience historic Downtown Chandler in a one-of-a-kind way.

Gavin Jacobs (ASU Alumni and long-time restaurant owner and industry professional) and Elliot & Jackie Hall of Hall Investment Properties, are the co-owners of the Brickyard Downtown.  Gavin strives to serve each and every person uniquely, create an unforgettable experience and develop a place where people aren't just customers, they're family.  They honor the restaurant's history by exposing the original brick, tin tile ceiling and concrete floors that are almost a century old. This combination of historic preservation along with the modern design elements and the utmost in service have continued the original "City Beautiful" movement from years ago in Chandler.  Now, they've created a new movement, #ChanhattanRising.
