The Beer Emporium is an underground bar in the heart of Bristol Old Town, the "Beermuda Triangle" on King Street. Upstairs, on street level, is our award-winning Bottle Shop ('Best South Retailer' 2014 during the Celebrate British Beer Awards held at the House of Commons in London). The Bottle Shop's opening hours are 9-6pm Mon.-Thurs., 9-8pm Fri., and 10-8pm Sat.; bottles can also be purchased to take away from the bar until 10pm and on Sundays. With an emphasis on Belgian and local Bristolian breweries, the Bottle Shop covers the best of beer from the Netherlands to Norway and saisons to stouts. Downstairs at the bar you will find 24 draught lines (12 keg and 12 cask), constantly changing, and a wide selection of bottles chosen from the Bottle Shop. We also have a resident Italian restaurant, Pepenero, well known for their wide range of pizzas, vegetarian and vegan options, and their specialty homemade gelato; take a look at our Menu section for full details.
