About the Business

Our owner AnnaMarie Cua, has been a licensed Cosmetologist for 13 years. She has traveled around the world learning different natural remedies, and cultural styles. AnnaMarie has just returned to her hometown of Columbus to open The Beauty Box in January of 2016. She has spent the past 3 years living on the lush Isle of Maui, Hawaii, cultivating her Bridal Beauty skills. Her love for her family and the city brought her back home. She has worked with some of the best in the game and is confident in all beauty services, no matta ;) (some hawaiian slang!). We enjoy using Organic products and blending our own unique creams and treatments when needed, Cosmetic Chemistry is another passion of our talented owner. Fashion and Art are also in her background and help to bring the whole look together. AM, has been published in many articles and enjoys doing set work for photo shoots and fashion shows.

AnnaMarie comes from a large family of entrepreneurs in Columbus.  Growing up in a flower shop has helped cultivate her green thumb, even though she wanted nothing to do with it in her younger years. Being in a family of amazing cooks has also helped her in using whole ingredients for beauty treatments.  She grew up painting with the artists in her family and learning to sew at an early age from her Grandmother, whom made wedding gowns all her life. She brings all of these talents with her embodied in a light hearted and kind smile:)
