About the Business

Established in 2010 The Bar Car was once called the Boulevard Inn. In recent years it was known as The Recovery Room, since it was located just across the street from the CU medical center. The medical center has since moved to Aurora. When the recent owners purchased the location they decided a full re-branding was necessary. Thus, came The Bar Car. The Bar Car brings fond memories of days gone by. Long and narrow like an old train car this cozy spot features decorative railroad, travel, and train signs throughout so you feel as if your traveling through the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This bar will take you back to a true Americana!
