We are a chef driven restaurant and bar that specializes in upscale, casual American food with some Tex Mex regional influences. All of our dishes are made from scratch daily and our dinner menu highlights a different dish every night. Our vegetable offerings, soups and desserts change seasonally. We offer happy hour Monday through Friday and a notable brunch menu Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 2 pm.

Celebrated Chef Felipe Armenta opened the Tavern Bar and Grill in October of 2010.  He moved to Ft. Worth from San Angelo where he opened The Grill and Cork and Pig Tavern with the mission to bring his from scratch cooking to the local community.  Felipe's style of cooking is to take the best ingredients and prepare them in classic ways with attention to detail.   He sources the best produce, meat and ingredients and uses organic and sustainable products in many of his dishes. You can always tell when you eat in one of his restaurants because they are always consistent and always value driven.
