An independently owned and operated Thai restaurant. With an ethos from the outset to provide authentically delicious Thai cuisine, served to the highest standards. You wont find another "Tarn Thai" anywhere but in Nottingham.

Big and spacious, with room for 98 diners, adorned with traditional and modern Thai art, two ponds and a central waterfall which all add up to an extra special dining experience.

Within a few months of opening we won the "Metro Food & Drink Award For Best New Restaurant In The East Midlands". It was our emphasis on top quality food and service which secured that award, and we have endeavored to maintain the same high standards ever since.

We have a large and loyal customer base, who return time and again, reflected in the nearly 7000 genuine facebook likes.

One of our all time highlights was serving Lionel Richie after a sell-out tour at the Nottingham Arena.

I have been the manager at Tarn Thai Restaurant since it first opened in 2006. I passionately believe in high standards of customer service and satisfaction. I know that is an easy thing to say, but as a Thai it is very important to me personally and to Thai culture. Before Tarn Thai I worked extensively in the Thai hospitality industry in several top 5 star hotels in Bangkok. I'm proud to say that I have now over 35 years of experience in this capacity. I pass on my knowledge and experience to our front of house staff at Tarn Thai, in order that your dining experience is the best that it can possibly be. I trust that you will find my staff polite, professional, and warmly welcoming. I like to think that it is one of the 4 main reasons that we get so many long term repeat customers. The other 3 reasons being exquisite Thai cuisine, beautiful surroundings and value for money.
