About the Business

Started in 1988, the Tara Inn has become an institution in Toronto. Known originally for the fun and jovial atmosphere provided by Willy and Molly Reddy, it also earned a reputation and is known for its great food, beverage selection, and entertainment.
Such big names as Paddy Reilly, The Fureys, Jim McCann have provided top notch Irish entertainment at the Tara. Also, Juno award winner Paul James, Downchild, McLean and McLean, Kim Stockwood, and the list goes on and on.
The entertainment brings the crowds in, but it's the food that keeps them coming back again, and again. Going back to when renowned Canadian Chef John Higgins prepared a tremendous dining experience for patrons during a charity benefit, to the present when the tremendous Wings at the Tara won 1st Place in the Toronto Wing festival, the food at the Tara is deserving of the reputation they have earned.
