About the Business

Staring at the Brooklyn Bridge behind the 2 glass garage doors of SUteiShi, I had a vision to establish a fine dining Japanese Restaurant with a casual atmosphere. The concept was coined "dining fine."

It is this "dining fine" vision that allowed us to:

1) Distinguish our attentive service.

2) Achieve great ratings since 2007 on Zagats, Yelp, OpenTable, and Tripadvisor. Our most recent Zagat rating ranked us Food 25, Service 23, Decor 21 in 2013.

3) Re-open after being totally destroyed by 6 feet of flood water from Hurricane Sandy.

Our team is our history! It is through their hard work and dedication throughout the years that makes SUteiShi memorable and a wonderful place to dine.

SUteiShi specializes in exciting your palate with dishes like our famous Tuna Ravioli, Hot and Crispy Shrimp and our specialty "Enjoy" side of the menu that includes unique fusion sushi pieces like the Big Eye Tuna with a Roasted Garlic Chip. We create a unique, delicious Brunch Menu with hints of Japanese ingredients in traditional brunch favorites like the Sake Marinated Salmon Eggs Benedict - a must try!
